Good Friday holiday closure at noon (April 3)

Dear Texas Woman’s Community,

As has been customary, the governor partially closes state offices on Good Friday. In anticipation of that, I am writing to share that Texas Woman’s will close at noon on Friday, April 3. Nonessential employees scheduled to work from noon to five o’clock may end their workday early, and classes beginning at noon or later will be canceled. Employees whose schedules include this time should record it as “Emergency Leave” (reason: “University Closure”).

For those who are celebrating, I wish you a happy Easter weekend. For all, I hope this extended time offers a welcome pause and a bit of extra rest.
