Dental Hygiene event focuses on improving smiles

More than 80 TWU students took part in the annual Giving Kids a Smile event in March. The free event, sponsored by the university’s Dental Hygiene Program, is a daylong activity devoted to providing free dental services to underrepresented youths from 3 to 19 in the Denton community.
Evans named to RSA Emerging Scholar Program

Sigma Delta Pi honor society returns to TWU

Following the launch of the BA in Spanish Translation and Interpreting (Medical) and the Spanish Club, TWU has restarted its chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the national collegiate Hispanic honor society.
Fiction class goes deep into baseball literature

TWU’s English 2153 class, Intro to Fiction, is reading literature connected with baseball, and students created a bulletin board and bookshelves at Denton’s South Branch Library with baseball-themed reading recommendations.
Spanish Film Festival returns March 24-30

The 2025 TWU Spanish Film Festival will feature five movies from five countries, including two films which were official entries to the Academy Awards.
