Texas Woman's University alumna Elizabeth Brownlow has earned the American Council of Learned Societies' Leading Edge Fellowship to serve as a Research and Communications Strategist at PowerSwitch Action.

TWU student receives National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship

Texas Woman's University student Fabiola Gonzalez-Zeno has been named a recipient of the National Puerto Rican Day Parade Scholarship. Gonzalez-Zeno is a communication sciences and disorders student at TWU. Only 100 National Puerto Rican Day Parade scholarships were awarded nationwide.

TWU alumna Oswalt named to NHC Advisory Council

Texas Woman’s University alumna Amanda Oswalt has been named to the National Humanities Center’s Teacher Advisory Council for 2022-23.

"I already have a love for the humanities," said Oswalt, who earned a PhD in rhetoric from TWU in 2021 and teaches at Collin College in Frisco. "To be able to work with educational programs on a national level, things that can help influence students and teachers, is a really exciting opportunity."

Texas Woman's University alumna Jocelynn Peña has been promoted from adjunct instructor to full-time teaching capacity at North Central Texas College in Gainesville.

TWU student earns four scholarships to study in Greece
