Center awards grants to veteran entrepreneurs

The Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) at Texas Woman’s University has selected five women veterans to receive $5,000 awards through its Veteran Entrepreneur Grant program, supporting business growth across Texas.

Dental Hygiene event focuses on improving smiles

More than 80 TWU students took part in the annual Giving Kids a Smile event in March. The free event, sponsored by the university’s Dental Hygiene Program, is a daylong activity devoted to providing free dental services to underrepresented youths from 3 to 19 in the Denton community.

Moore awarded Fulbright nursing residency in Israel

Brenda Moore, PhD, a nursing professor at TWU’s Houston campus and director of the Center for Global Nursing and Healthcare, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award in nursing for spring 2027.

The 2026 Texas Wildflower Day will take place on the TWU Denton campus Apr. 24-25. Texas Woman’s University is the designated location for the annual Wildflower Day celebration. The theme for this year's Wildflower Day is Beyond the Bloom, Protecting Pollinators and Preserving our Future.
