An incoming Texas Woman’s University student has been awarded the inaugural $15,000 Merrilee Alexander Kick Scholarship, which supports alumni of Momentous Institute’s nationally acclaimed elementary laboratory school for children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

Now, as the senior associate director of performance for Olympic sports at University of Alabama, she is responsible for improving athletic performance across multiple programs.

Researcher wins second award to support individuals with cerebral palsy

Texas Woman’s researcher Heather Roberts has received a second major award aimed at improving care and outcomes for individuals with cerebral palsy. The $285,000 award comes from the Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Award Program, an initiative of the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
